Good afternoon everyone. Freezing rain continues to skirt the bluegrass state, impacting a few areas in the west and north through Saturday. This happens as we have a huge temp gradient showing up from north to south across the region.<\/p>\n

A Freezing Rain Advisory is out for a few counties along the Ohio River…<\/p>\n

\"Warnings\"<\/a><\/p>\n

South of that, showers will be common through tonight and Saturday. Thermometers won’t fluctuate much at all into the coming weekend. The south stays much milder than the north.<\/p>\n

The flow next week becomes southwesterly and leads to additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms coming our way. This can lead to additional hefty rain totals through next weekend…<\/p>\n

After we get through that wet period, winter surges back into the region. This looks to take control of the pattern for the end of the month and into February. Blah Blah Blah. I’m not a fan of these back loaded winters that carry into early spring, but that’s what’s happened a lot recently and should happen again this year.<\/p>\n

I will get more in depth on that later this evening and tonight.<\/p>\n
