Good afternoon, gang. Snow showers and flurries have caused some travel issues across parts of the region today. With additional snow showers sweeping through tonight and Saturday, similar issues may develop. The main light snow maker arrives Sunday into Monday with a more widespread situation.<\/p>\n

Here’s the regional radar for today’s snows…<\/p>\n

I have no changes to the Sunday-Monday system. It looks like a nice swath of 1″-3″ of snow for much of the state taking shape. One thing I’m watching for is the potential we see some convective banding setting up. That could mean some fun and fames.<\/p>\n

Here’s the GFS snowfall map through Monday…<\/p>\n

\"GFS<\/a>Notice the amp up across the southeast? That typically happens on a northwesterly flow.<\/p>\n

The models then show a few more systems to impact us with some light snow from Tuesday-Thursday. Here’s the first one…<\/p>\n

The GFS is now seeing these systems and you can see that on the 7 day snow map…<\/p>\n
