It&#8217;s all eyes on the weekend and the potential for a winter storm to impact the bluegrass state. This system continues to show up a with slight differences from model to model and from run to run. Those small differences can have big impacts on the actual weather where you live.<\/p>\n<p>The current runs of the European and GFS Models are very similar with one another, with the greatest chance for snow across southern Kentucky into northern Tennessee. Here&#8217;s the European Model&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=23002\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23002\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23002\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Euro-Snow.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"767\" height=\"446\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Euro-Snow.png 767w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Euro-Snow-300x174.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 767px) 100vw, 767px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The GFS is similar, though just a smidge farther north compared to its earlier run&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=23009\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23009\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23009\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/gfs-3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"742\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=23010\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23010\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23010\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/GFS-snow-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"343\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/GFS-snow-3.png 660w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/GFS-snow-3-300x156.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The NAM has a north bias with many winter storm systems and is all alone with its current solution&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=23006\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23006\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23006\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/NAM-5.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"742\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The snow map is likely very, very, very overdone&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=23005\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23005\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23005\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/NAM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"665\" height=\"343\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/NAM.png 665w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/NAM-300x155.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 665px) 100vw, 665px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Again, the NAM is usually overdone with precipitation amounts from this range in this kind of setup.<\/p>\n<p>We aren&#8217;t done with winter after the weekend. This next system diving in here late Monday into Tuesday continues to get my attention.
