As expected, rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms rolled across the state on Monday. These storms caused some wind damage and put down a ton of large hail. This plays into the severe weather season narrative I&#8217;ve been yapping about for a while now. It&#8217;s going to be a busy one!<\/p>\n<p>Scattered showers and storms will move away from the region early today, but some isolated stuff may float around into the afternoon. Highs will hit the upper 60s to low 70s for many&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wednesday is mainly dry and a littler cooler, but still above normal for the end of March.<\/p>\n<p>Once into Thursday and Friday, another potent storm system makes a run at us with rounds of showers and thunderstorms&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=23242\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23242\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23242\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/GFS-15.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1187\" height=\"875\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/GFS-15.png 1187w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/GFS-15-300x221.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/GFS-15-768x566.png 768w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/GFS-15-1024x755.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1187px) 100vw, 1187px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some of those storms could be strong or severe, with the potential to put down a lot of rainfall.<\/p>\n<p>That action moves away by early Saturday, leaving us with a decent looking weekend across our part of the world.
