Rounds of showers and thunderstorms continue to impact the region and these may cause some issues. Heavy rain will move back into parts of the state today, with much more widespread action later this week into the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Highs today are in the 70s with a scattering of showers and storms. This action will really increase later today into tonight and could put down enough rain to cause local high water issues. I&#8217;ll especially be watching areas of southern and southeastern Kentucky&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=23418\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23418\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23418\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Special-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"674\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Special-2.png 674w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Special-2-300x165.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 674px) 100vw, 674px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s regional radar to track the rain and thunder&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wednesday looks to feature similar conditions with scattered stuff and highs in the 70s.<\/p>\n<p>Warm winds blow on Thursday with temps reaching 80-85 degrees for much of the state. This is ahead of a cold front, bringing a line of strong to severe\u00a0thunderstorms in here into Thursday evening and early Friday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=23415\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23415\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23415\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/GFS-13.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"785\" height=\"435\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/GFS-13.png 785w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/GFS-13-300x166.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/GFS-13-768x426.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 785px) 100vw, 785px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Temps will drop some on Friday as we try to dry things up for a bit.
