We have a lot of rain moving into the region over the next few days. This comes via an area of low pressure working slowly across the region. Much cooler temps will accompany this system, but a MAJOR surge in temps will follow into next week.<\/p>\n<p>A cold front has put the brakes on across the state today, allowing for additional showers and storms to develop. This action will increase as the day wears on with quite the temps swing setting up from north to south. A few of the storms in the south may be strong&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"full-wide\" src=\"http:\/\/gray.ftp.clickability.com\/wkytwebftp\/WEBTEMPS_STATE_650.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/public\/state\/images\/KY_swody1.png\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Additional rounds of heavy rain and storms will then swing eastward tonight through Saturday.
