Our taste of winter had a short, but beautiful, stay across the bluegrass state. The snow worked out according to plan and we are now left with a few furries into the overnight.<\/p>\n<p>Where do we go from here?<\/p>\n<p>A seasonal chill will be with us on Thursday as temps hit the low 40s under partly sunny skies. That&#8217;s a ho-hum kinda weather day.<\/p>\n<p>The action begins to pick up on Friday as an arctic front dives southeastward into the region. This front should have a weak wave of low pressure along it and will be able to produce some decent precipitation. This would continue into Saturday morning with snow showers and flurries around into the rest of the day. That&#8217;s a scenario that can put down a light accumulation for many areas.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday will be a very wind and cold day with temps staying in the 20s. Lows by Sunday take a dive into the low and mid teens.<\/p>\n<p>The pattern into next week is ripe for some overrunning moisture. This means we should be on guard for some wintry weather in the form of snow, mix and\/or rain.
