As we continue to enjoy an incredible run of October weather here in early September, it&#8217;s all eyes on Hurricane Irma. This storm continues to be a monster and will head toward Florida this coming weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The satellite image below shows Hurricane Irma taking center stage, with Hurricanes Jose and Katia making cameos&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.goes.noaa.gov\/GIFS\/HUIR.JPG\" alt=\"Hurricane Infrared GOES East\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The forecast track from the National Hurricane Center is a worst case scenario for Florida and brings this thing straight toward Kentucky\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"coneimage\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nhc.noaa.gov\/storm_graphics\/AT11\/refresh\/AL112017_5day_cone_no_line_and_wind+png\/205603_5day_cone_no_line_and_wind.png\" alt=\"cone graphic\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This track is similar to the latest run of the European Model&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/DJJAIc2XYAAjiFd.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/DJJAIc4W0AYDPLx.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/DJJAIc3XoAAyye4.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-aria-label-part=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The European Model then brings what&#8217;s left of Irma into the lower Ohio Valley and Tennessee Valley.<\/p>\n<p>The GFS is now very close to the European model and the NHC forecast&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=24660\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-24660\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24660\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/GFS-2-3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Canadian does too&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=24655\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-24655\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24655\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/CANADIAN-1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The latest Hurricane Models spaghetti plot are all tightly clustered toward a similar scenario&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=24657\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-24657\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24657\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/GFS-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/GFS-3.png 1024w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/GFS-3-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/GFS-3-768x576.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>No doubt about it&#8230; This is a worst case scenario for the state of Florida.<\/p>\n<p>I will update things again tonight.
