Good early Sunday. A TORNAO WATCH is now out for much of central and western Ky until 11am EDT. Here is the watch outline with the latest warnings…

Good Sunday to one and all. Showers and thunderstorms will continue to roll across the region today as the stormy pattern rolls on. These boomers will continue to do their thing and we will have the all too familiar tracking tools for you guys.

A few thoughts…

– Clusters of storms Saturday brought some big time rain totals to the state. Some areas picked up 2″-4″ of rains.

– Storms today will pack a punch in terms of more heavy rains that can cause local high water concerns. Severe storms will again be possible.

– A few storms look to hang into Monday as well. This means the heat pushing in from the west really won’t have a lot of time to build in and a glancing blow is about all we will get.

– A strong cold front will move in by the middle of the new week with another round of stormy weather before cooler temps move in for the end of the week.
