A strong cold front is racing across Kentucky today, bringing gusty shower and thunderstorms our way. The bigger news is the chilly air coming in behind this boundary. Temps can get cold enough for some patchy frost to develop over the next couple of mornings.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s showers and storms won&#8217;t be\u00a0big rain makers, but can put down a quarter of an inch in several areas&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/builder.zoomradar.net\/zoomradar_weather_map\/weather_page.php?key=9nNfA2mOMDiJ4LG\" width=\"560\" height=\"462\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Winds are going to be very gusty today and could reach 30-35mph at times. The temperature drop is going to be pretty awesome to see and feel. The rest of Tuesday will see temps into the 60-65 degree range in the central and east, with higher numbers in the west.
