We continue to track a fun final weekend of October in the bluegrass state. A strong cold front promises some big time changes to go along with a small taste of winter weather for some.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, there is zero change from what we have been talking about all week long. This will be a huge temp drop coming in Friday afternoon and evening. Late Friday afternoon will feature a 30+ degree temp spread from west to east&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=25363\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25363\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25363\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/NAM-2-9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"707\" height=\"473\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/NAM-2-9.png 707w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/NAM-2-9-300x201.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 707px) 100vw, 707px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That cold air surges eastward overnight Friday, with these numbers showing up at 8am Saturday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=25364\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25364\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25364\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/NAM-3-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"703\" height=\"476\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/NAM-3-5.png 703w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/NAM-3-5-300x203.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 703px) 100vw, 703px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2pm numbers show where the shield of precipitation is. The northwest wind will likely spit out a few rain showers, possibly mixed with more flakes.
