Seasonally chill temps continue to roll on across the bluegrass state, with a true cold shot showing up on Friday. From there, we will track another cold rain maker later in the upcoming weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The Friday cold shot is impressive across much of the eastern half of the country, especially in the Great Lakes and\u00a0northeast&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=25613\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25613\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25613\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/canadian-2-4.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That brings 20s in here by Friday morning with afternoon highs in the upper 30s and low 40s. Those highs are impressive considering we will have sunny skies for the most part. Temps drop into the 20s Friday evening, with low 20s waiting on some of us by Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Winds are going to be gusty during this time, giving us some heart of winter wind chills. Here&#8217;s the NAM&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=25615\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25615\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25615\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/NAM-1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"510\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Canadian numbers are even colder&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=25614\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25614\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25614\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/canadian-9.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"510\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Highs for Saturday reach the middle upper 40s and low 50s with an increase in clouds. Those clouds are ahead of another cold front sweeping in on Sunday. This will bring chilly rain to the region through Monday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=25616\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25616\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25616\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/GFS-GIf-3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a chance we see that system trend a little deeper in the coming days. That may be able to pull down a littler colder air if it does so.<\/p>\n<p>The European Model slows that system down and lets it develop along the east coast, bringing another cold shot in here late next Wednesday into Thursday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=25621\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25621\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25621\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro1-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"838\" height=\"490\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro1-4.png 838w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro1-4-300x175.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro1-4-768x449.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 838px) 100vw, 838px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It follows that up with another system diving in here by the end of next week&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=25620\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25620\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25620\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-2-6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"488\" height=\"489\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-2-6.png 488w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-2-6-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-2-6-300x300.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been beating the drum on a winter look developing in the days leading up to Thanksgiving and you can see that on the maps above. The Ensembles are really picking up on this very well.
