Our loooooooong Thanksgiving holiday weekend rolls on as a cold front drops into the region from the north. This will knock the temps back down for Sunday, but another bounce back is likely into the first half of next week. After that&#8230; we trend down, again.<\/p>\n<p>Today is a windy day with our cold front moving in. It&#8217;s a mainly dry day, but a sprinkle or light shower can&#8217;t be ruled out.<\/p>\n<p>The air coming in here for Sunday is a seasonal brand of cold, but the Hi Res NAM has trended a little colder with the afternoon temps, especially across the north and east&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=26028\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26028\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26028\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/NAM-3-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"595\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/NAM-3-5.png 900w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/NAM-3-5-300x198.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/NAM-3-5-768x508.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Southwesterly winds will quickly kick in early next week, boosting our temps through Wednesday. This is when we find an interesting little system crossing the country, pulling down much colder air with it. The European Model has a rain maker later Thursday, with a mix of rain and snow for some on the first day of December&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=26024\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26024\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26024\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-4-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"755\" height=\"987\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-4-4.png 755w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-4-4-229x300.png 229w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 755px) 100vw, 755px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Euro has a colder than normal first few days of December&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=26025\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26025\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26025\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-5-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"679\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-5-2.png 840w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-5-2-300x243.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Euro-5-2-768x621.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The GFS is actually similar to the European Model, with rain on Thursday and the chance for\u00a0a Friday mix&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=26026\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26026\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26026\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/GFS-2-14.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"755\" height=\"987\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/GFS-2-14.png 755w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/GFS-2-14-229x300.png 229w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 755px) 100vw, 755px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The models have been trending deeper with that trough in recent runs, so let&#8217;s see if that continues in the coming days.
