We continue to track a major pattern change coming next week. It&#8217;s one that will bring a very cold setup to much of the country. With the cold, winter weather chances are sure to follow.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have much time, but wanted to share some of the latest data with you guys. No, I&#8217;m not one of those stuffy mets who thinks you guys shouldn&#8217;t be able to see such things. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>The late week system looks fairly progressive, with chilly showers Thursday into early Friday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=26080\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26080\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26080\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/GFS-35.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"754\" height=\"986\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/GFS-35.png 754w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/GFS-35-229x300.png 229w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 754px) 100vw, 754px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That system is being pushed through here because the pattern change is now coming much quicker on the models. The timeline on the GFS and Canadian Models is to bring rain in here late Monday into Tuesday, with the cold coming in behind that&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=26076\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26076\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26076\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/canadian-15.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve talked and talked and talked about the blocking taking shape. Look at this mega block showing up on the latest run of the GFS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=26081\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26081\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26081\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/GFS-GIf-20.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"638\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s ne heck of a trough getting caught under the block, bringing frigid air to the eastern half of the country.<\/p>\n<p>The CFS continues to play catch up, but is seeing the cold.
