Light snow accumulations continue to cause BIG issues on the roads The forecast is playing out like a charm with a coating to 1&#8243; of snow for many. Some locally higher amounts may show up in the east as snow showers continue tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Even with just a light accumulation, most roads are snow and ice covered across central and eastern Kentucky. This has turned into a VERY HIGH IMPACT travel event. I&#8217;m going to be as blunt as I can be here: If the National Weather Service cannot issue a Winter Weather Advisory for such a high impact event, then they should just go ahead and scrap it.
