The first TORNADO WATCH of the day is\u00a0 now out for the western part of Kentucky and it&#8217;s a PDS Tornado Watch. That stands for particularly Dangerous Situation and is a designation that doesn&#8217;t come lightly.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a look at the watch and the latest warnings&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/products\/watch\/ww0057_warnings.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"506\" height=\"464\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This setup can produce large and violent tornadoes across the watch area and I fully expect the entire state to be placed under new watches later today.<\/p>\n<p>I cannot stress enough how dangerous this situation really is. Widespread damaging winds, numerous tornadoes and very large hail are all likely across our region today into this evening.
