Good Sunday afternoon. Snow showers have been common across the bluegrass state this afternoon and have even put down a short-lived covering. The main snow action arrives later this evening into tonight and this will leave behind a swath of accumulating snows from northwest to southeast.<\/p>\n

A band of moderate to heavy snow will setup tonight and the exact question is still in question as it depends on the track of our clipper. Here is a first call for snowfall…<\/p>\n

Let me start out by saying I’m being a little conservative with that call. I do expect a few spots of 4″ of snow within the 1″-3″ corridor and the possibility of a little more than 4″ in the far southeast. The lines you see above are not set in stone and may expand a little in any direction.<\/p>\n

The snow will create slick roads overnight and likely to lead to a snow day for some on Monday. This will be\u00a0a wet snowfall that will create some picturesque scenes.<\/p>\n

Enjoy it… temps will soar by Tuesday with a mild rest of the week ahead of us.<\/p>\n
