Our Thursday turned into a very stormy one across Kentucky and continues the trend of the past month or so. Anytime the weather has a chance to be active&#8230; it goes all out and produces severe storms around here. That doesn&#8217;t bode well as we head toward the heart of the severe weather season in April and May.<\/p>\n<p>The storms of Thursday were mainly large hail producers, but some of the late boomers did cause some wind damage. Here&#8217;s a look at the preliminary severe weather reports from Thursday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Severe-Reports.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2838\" title=\"Severe Reports\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Severe-Reports.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"258\" height=\"378\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Severe-Reports.png 258w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Severe-Reports-204x300.png 204w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 258px) 100vw, 258px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The storms also put down a lot of water and this caused flash flooding problems in several counties.<\/p>\n<p>The pattern today and into the weekend is one that can produce more rounds of strong storms and torrential rainfall. Any area getting a little more sun can see another 80 degree high and the same temp forecast holds true into early next week.<\/p>\n<p>I will be keeping any eye on today&#8217;s storms to see if they max out and cause some more severe weather across Kentucky.
