I wanted to drop by for a quick update on the dramatic weather changes blowing in this week.\u00a0 We are heading back into a wintertime pattern that will feature MUCH colder than normal temps and the potential for some of the white stuff.<\/p>\n<p>In the short-term, we are tracking showers across western Kentucky. This action slowly spreads east into the evening&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/builder.zoomradar.net\/zoomradar_weather_map\/weather_page.php?key=9nNfA2mOMDiJ4LG\" width=\"560\" height=\"462\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This rain continues into Tuesday morning, but should quickly clear out of town. That leaves us with some sun, gusty winds and mild temps by the afternoon. Enjoy it, because that changes in a hurry by Tuesday night and Wednesday, as a bowling ball of an upper low drops in&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=28711\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28711\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-28711\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/NAM.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The end result of a system like this is usually snow showers and squalls. That could spawn another big storm system across the Ohio Valley into the eastern part of the country.
