Snow showers have been doing their thing, putting down light accumulations across much of the region. This action continues into Thursday, then the focus shifts toward the weekend and two winter weather makers heading our way.<\/p>\n<p>Additional snow showers will be around out there today, with additional light accumulations. With a true northwesterly flow kicking in tonight and Thursday, a nice stream of snow showers will show up from Lake Michigan all the way into the Appalachian Mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Local 1&#8243; amounts will be possible&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Again, some delays or cancellations are possible Thursday morning, especially in the east.<\/p>\n<p>The next system moving our way late Friday into Friday night continues to look to have rain and snow with it. For the past several days, I&#8217;ve talked about the potential for a swath of accumulating snow to show up with this and that&#8217;s now showing up on the models.
