Previous Update

<\/STRONG>Good Tuesday everyone and thanks for making the blog your home for weather. Monday featured rounds of severe storms blowing across the state with damaging winds and hail the star players. This pattern is going to roll on for a few more days as the threat for storms will continue to be with us.

Here is your breakdown…

– A few clusters of showers and thunderstorms will be likely today and these will generally move from west to east. Some of these will likely feature damaging winds and large hail. An isolated tornado will be possible.

– The setup Wednesday into Thursday is one that can produce a more significant severe weather event across our region. That is certainly something we will have to keep a close eye on.

– Outside of the thunderstorm action over the next few days… temps will be warm with highs in the 80s with a definite muggy feel to the air.

– For those making plans for the Memorial Day weekend… there is only a slight chance for a thunderstorm as temps remain warm.
