Snow showers and squalls continue to put down &#8220;hit and run&#8221; accumulations across the region. These are even covering roads for a brief time, especially in the east. Once this action calms down, we focus on two more systems for the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>In the short-term, keep tracking the snow showers and squalls that are out there&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The late Friday-Friday night system continues to show up well, likely producing a swath of slushy, accumulating snows. Exactly where that sets up is yet to be determined, but here&#8217;s my current thinking on who has the best chance&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=28802\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28802\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-28802\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Special-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"553\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Special-2.png 598w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Special-2-300x277.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This setup has the potential to produce a narrow band of a few inches of snow. I will get\u00a0 a first call map out this evening.<\/p>\n<p>The Sunday storm system continues to vary from model run to model run, and from model to model.
