Good Thursday everyone. Our summer pattern is about ready to take a backseat to one more typical of this time of year. An upper level low in the plains states will crawl across Kentucky over the next few days and this will bring wet and cooler weather our way.<\/p>\n

The action will get started this afternoon and evening with scattered showers and thunderstorms blowing up across the central and east. The western part of the state will begin to see steadier rains moving in ahead of our storm system. The NAM Simulated Radar shows this very well…<\/p>\n

Friday into Saturday look fairly wet with showers and some thunderstorms becoming more widespread. Locally heavy rain is likely, but I’m not overly concerned about widespread severe weather coming from this mess. But, there could be a few strong or severe storms on Friday.\u00a0 The NAM Simulated Radar shows the progression of the rain over the next few days…<\/p>\n

High temps in the 60s are likely during this time and I could see a few spots struggling to get to 60 on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The rain will begin to pull away on Sunday with warmer air returning by early next week.<\/p>\n
