Old Man Winter and spring are ready to fight it out over the next week. Vegas currently has the Old Man as the favorite. That&#8217;s because the overall pattern continues to be skewed heavily in his favor for the next week, at least.<\/p>\n<p>Today is a very nice day across the bluegrass state. Highs will range from the low 60s in the west, to the low 50s in the east. Skies will stay mainly sunny, so let&#8217;s get outside and enjoy some of the good stuff.<\/p>\n<p>The bad stuff is ready to roll back in here for the next few days. That&#8217;s when another storm system rolls our way, bringing an increase in showers and a few thunderstorms&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=29004\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-29004\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29004\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/GFS-GIf-22.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The frozen stuff looks to stay just to our north, as we are walking a fine line between winter temps and spring temps this weekend. We have a slew of possibilities with this system, including going front strong storms to snow&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=29003\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-29003\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29003\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/GFS-2-8.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wraparound snows would be something that could carry us into the middle of next week. Temps during that time will come WAY, WAY down.<\/p>\n<p>This very active pattern likely takes us through the rest of March, and I think it keeps rolling through the spring. That can mean a lot of precipitation around here.
