Good Saturday, everyone. We have a very busy March pattern that shows no signs of letting up. It’s one bringing the threat for thunderstorms and snow our way over the next week and change, as Winter and Spring continue to wage an epic weather battle.<\/p>\n

Temps out there today really show the fight we are witnessing. Highs in the north stay in the 40s, while folks in southern Kentucky watch thermometers head toward 70. This is happening as low pressure zips across the region, bringing scattered showers and storms. A few of the storms may even be strong across the southeast. I will have your tracking toys in a bit.<\/p>\n

Sunday looks like a much more tranquil and normal weather day. A mix of sun and clouds will be noted with temps in the 50s and low 60s for many.<\/p>\n

Two systems then roll our way for the first half of next week, unleashing another winter look. We may go from showers and storms to snow in just a few days. Here’s the GFS…<\/p>\n

That sets off another cold look for the second half of next week.<\/p>\n

The active pattern continues through the rest of the month, with additional storm systems impacting our weather. Some may be wintry, some may bring thunderstorms. The end result will likely be a lot of precipitation over the next few weeks.<\/p>\n
