The threat for showers and thunderstorms will increase west to east very late this afternoon into the evening. This is when we will have to be on guard for possible severe storms once again.<BR><BR><STRONG>A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH<\/STRONG> is out for far western Kentucky until 6pm CDT. Take care.<BR><BR><STRONG>Previous Update<BR><BR><\/STRONG>Good Monday everyone and welcome to a VERY active weather week across Kentucky and much of the country. Sunday kicked off another mega severe weather outbreak with the devastating tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the folks there and anywhere else dealing with the aftermath of severe storms and flooding.<BR><BR>Each day through Thursday is likely to feature severe weather across our part of the world as numerous rounds storms roll across the state over the next several days. This may end with a significant outbreak Wednesday into Thursday. Damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes will be possible.<BR><BR>Torrential rains will also be common with these storms and this can lead to flash flooding .
