Our day has been filled with the sounds of\u00a0 drip, drip, drip, as we melt the leftovers from our latest snowstorm. As we look ahead, we find a much milder week in store, but the pattern looks awfully active. The milder won&#8217;t last long, with a significant cold blast coming for early April.<\/p>\n<p>Highs for the week ahead should warm to the 60s for much of the state, with a shot at a 70 if we cans squeeze in a little sunshine.<\/p>\n<p>With the milder pattern, comes the increasing threat for showers and thunderstorms. Isolated stuff will be possible Monday and Tuesday, with more widespread action on Wednesday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=29227\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-29227\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29227\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Euro-19.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"485\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Euro-19.png 840w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Euro-19-300x173.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Euro-19-768x443.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Scattered showers and storms continue through the end of the week, with a much stronger storm system taking aim at our region. If it deepens a little more, those strong storms could even become severe.<\/p>\n<p>The cold behind that is quick-hitting, with a nice rebound into Easter. That&#8217;s ahead of a powerful blast of cold for the first week of April.
