Good afternoon, everyone. We have a very active few days ahead of us, with an increasing threat for a severe weather outbreak across our region. A mega-temperature swing will help fuel some nasty thunderstorms, that can cause a lot of issues through Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

While the main severe threat comes Tuesday afternoon and evening, I’m going to be watching some thunderstorms developing later tonight and early Tuesday. These will be along a warm front lifting northward through the state. Large hail producing storms may accompany this front. The SPC may have to extend the risk deeper into the state…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Warm, moist and unstable air comes in for Tuesday. Temps may make a run at 80 degrees on a strong southwesterly wind flow. This is ahead of a major cold front that will drop temps into the low 30s by Wednesday morning. A squall line of severe thunderstorms will develop along the front and roll quickly across the state.<\/p>\n
