Old Man Winter is poised to bring another round of light snow our way tonight and early Monday. This may drop some light accumulations across the northern half of the state. That kicks off a week that may very well end with temps pushing 80 and a severe weather threat.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight&#8217;s snow zips in and out of town pretty quickly&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=29514\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-29514\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29514\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/NAM-8.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"742\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Light accumulations are a good bet for those getting under this fast-mover. Some of the Hi Res Models are showing 1&#8243;+ amounts&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=29515\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-29515\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29515\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/NAM-7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"945\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/NAM-7.png 945w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/NAM-7-300x191.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/NAM-7-768x488.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 945px) 100vw, 945px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Much of that will be on grass and elevated surfaces, but ground temps are a little colder following back to back hard freezes.<\/p>\n<p>That action scoots away quickly on Monday, with a decent afternoon in store. After one more little dip on Tuesday, temps take off for the rest of the week. We hit the 70s by Thursday and Friday, ahead of a potent storm system rolling our way.
