Good Saturday, everyone. Mother’s Day Weekend is here and the weather is doing a pretty good impersonation of summer. Temps are on the steamy side of the thermometer, but a stormy setup appears ready to kick in.\u00a0A few of those storms may even crank before the weekend is over.<\/p>\n

Highs out there today will top out from the middle 80s to around 90 degrees. A mix of steamy sun and clouds will be noted, but I can’t totally rule out a storm impacting northern Kentucky. This is the area closest to some big storms rumbling across parts of Indiana and Ohio. That’s where severe weather is possible today…<\/p>\n

As that front sags a little farther south late Sunday, the potential for strong or locally severe storms may get into parts of the state. Here’s the Mother’s Day Severe Weather Outlook…<\/p>\n

The setup for next week continues to look very warm and humid, leading to rounds of showers and thunderstorms. A boundary sets up shop across the Ohio Valley, with a deep supply of moisture coming at us from the south…<\/p>\n
