Our run of absolutely gorgeous weather is slowly coming to an end as more typical June air rolls into the region. This will include a little more steam and the increasing threat for scattered storms as we head into the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Temps to start today are deep into the 50s in many areas, with some upper 40s in the east. Humidity levels are still low as afternoon temps reach the low 80s across the central and east, and upper 80s in the west. Skies will stay partly to mostly sunny, but I can&#8217;t rule out a stray storm impacting the north&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Friday is typically toasty day across the bluegrass state. Highs will generally range from 85-90 degrees with more humidity into the mix. There is a small threat for a few showers or storms oing up by evening, especially in the north.<\/p>\n<p>Scattered showers and thunderstorms will then increase on Saturday and should keep going through the rest of the weekend into early next week&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=30239\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-30239\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-30239\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/GFS-GIf-4.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a>That setup can also put down some hefty rain totals across our part of the world.
