Our weekend weather has been nothing short of awesome, with below normal temps and much lower humidity levels. As the humidity starts to increase, we turn our attention toward an increase in showers and thunderstorms. This action ramps up ahead of another cold front, set to bring a renewed push of pleasant air.<\/p>\n<p>Highs today are generally in the low and middle 80s. Humidity begins to inch up, with scattered showers and storms developing in the afternoon and evening. The best chance is across central and western parts of the state&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/builder.zoomradar.net\/zoomradar_weather_map\/weather_page.php?key=9nNfA2mOMDiJ4LG\" width=\"560\" height=\"462\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Showers and storms will increase on Monday, with the potential for a few strong storms and torrential rains&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=30530\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-30530\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-30530\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/GFS-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"692\" height=\"351\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/GFS-4.png 692w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/GFS-4-300x152.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><\/a>You can see Chris spinning off the east coast at the same time. Another cold front dropping into the eastern half of the country.
