Rounds of showers and storms have been common over the past few days, weeks and months, and it looks like this familiar pattern rolls on into the 8th month of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Rounds of showers and storms will be across the region today, especially in the central and east. A strong storm is possible once again, with locally heavy rainfall a good bet. Any one day can feature some strong storms with torrential rains.
