Our weather pattern continues to be stuck in place, with rounds of showers and thunderstorms rolling on into early August. This action really doesn\u2019t show much sign of letting up any time soon. This also helps to keep the temps in check.<\/p>\n<p>This sounds like the proverbial broken record, but any storm that goes up today can be strong and put down enough rain to cause local high water issues, mainly in the east. Your daily dose of tracking toys&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Scattered showers and storms will also be noted on Friday with temps in the 80s. The scattered showers and storms roll into the coming weekend&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=30785\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-30785\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-30785\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/8ED101D6-D43A-4513-92D3-827E44A83B03.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Temps this weekend into early next week will be more typical of this time of year, but nothing really \u201chot\u201d. More showers and storms crank next week as another cold front drops in from the northwest&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=30786\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-30786\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-30786\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/15830F20-BE94-4D3C-BDD9-52003F3EE0D0.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If we look longer range with some of the seasonal models, we find a continuation of the above normal rainfall setup.
