Good Friday, folks. This first weekend of August is here and we look to be tracking more rounds of showers and storms. This action will be fairly scattered today, but should pick up the pace some as we roll through Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sure that\u2019s exactly what you wanted to hear! \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s begin with where we are today and roll forward. Highs on this Friday will be in the 80s for the entire region. A storm or two will be noted throughout the day… Yama, Yada, Yada.<\/p>\n

As mentioned, the showers and storms do increase as we head into the weekend, but it\u2019s not close to being a washout. Here are the GFS rain numbers through Sunday night…<\/p>\n

Any shower or storm action can put down enough rain to cause some local flooding issues to develop. Many areas picked up a lot of rain over the past week, so a cloudburst or two could cause issues.<\/p>\n

Temps may come down some from where we are today.<\/p>\n

The numbers rebound early next week, but a potent system diving in from the northwest may cause a few issues…<\/p>\n

Strong storms and torrential rains will be possible during this time. All of this is coming from a another deep trough digging into the eastern half of the country…<\/p>\n
