Meteorological fall begins today, but Mother Nature is in no hurry to wrap up summer. As a matter of fact, the first week of the &#8216;fall&#8217; may very well be the steamiest of the entire year. This steam will also be accompanied by&#8230; scattered storms.<\/p>\n<p>Let us begin with today and roll forward. Highs are generally in the mid and upper 80s across the state, with a local 90 in the west. Humidity levels will make it feel 90 or a little better in most areas. Watch for a few boomers to go up in the afternoon and evening hours. Any storm that&#8217;s out there could put down torrential rains on a local scale&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/builder.zoomradar.net\/zoomradar_weather_map\/weather_page.php?key=9nNfA2mOMDiJ4LG\" width=\"560\" height=\"462\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gray.ftp.clickability.com\/wkytwebftp\/WEBWATCHES.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gray.ftp.clickability.com\/wkytwebftp\/WEBWARNINGS.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Scattered showers and storms will continue to fire up Sunday into Labor Day. Those storms will be capable of putting down torrential rains and will produce a lot of lightning.
