Good evening, folks. Today has been one of those brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr kind of days across our region as gusty winds combine with frigid temps to make it feel like the heart of winter. Throw in some snow showers and flurries and November continues to have Old Man Winter’s signature all over it.<\/p>\n

Snow showers continue to develop on a northwesterly wind this evening. A few of those will continue into Tuesday across the east, especially. Watch how this shows up on the NAM…<\/p>\n

Coatings show up for several areas, with some local 1″ amounts possible if you get in under repeat snow shower action. With temps dropping into the low 20s, slick spots will develop on area roads.<\/p>\n

Wind chills on Tuesday stay in the teens as highs stay in the upper 20s. That’s another brrrrrrrrrrrrr of a day. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The next system moves in on Thursday as the cold air starts to pull out of town. The leading edge of light rain may very well be in the form of sleet for a few hours.<\/p>\n

From there, rounds of heavy rain and high winds target our region from Friday through the weekend…<\/p>\n

Rainfall numbers of 1″-2″ are likely during this time. Winds will also be a major player and may cause issues. Those gusts may reach 40-50mph once again…<\/p>\n

After that system rolls through, we start to make the transition into a very wintry look for next week. Arctic cold dives into our region and may bring an increase in snow chances…<\/p>\n
