Good evening, everyone. We are rolling into the weekend with a colder brand of air surging in here and that’s bringing a drying trend. That doesn’t last long as another big storm system gets ready to move in here for the close of 2018. That brings a lot of ugly weather back in here.<\/p>\n

This system is looking potent with heavy rain, strong storms and high winds… Again. This is another monster…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Rainfall of 1″-3″ will be possible, leading to the potential for flooding. A few of the storms may even be on the strong or locally severe side.<\/p>\n

With or without storms, high winds look to become an issue again. The European Model has winds nearing 60mph…<\/p>\n

Happy New Year! Ugh.<\/p>\n

Much colder air comes in behind that with our next storm system developing and working our way by Thursday and Friday. The models are still correcting this thing farther west.<\/p>\n

This active pattern looks to continue as the pattern skews colder through the first 2 weeks of January. The European Ensembles see the snow chances…<\/p>\n
