<\/p>\nGood evening, folks. It’s a bitterly cold night taking shape across the state as a swath of light snow works across areas of the west. I wanted to drop by for a quick update on the very busy and frigid pattern ahead.<\/p>\n
First things first, let’s track the light snow and flurries…<\/p>\n

I have no changes on what happens later in the week. A cold front slowly works across the state late Tuesday into Wednesday with another massive temp drop. Rain will change to freezing rain, sleet and snow and all of this is likely to cause travel issues once again. That’s followed by an arctic front with snow Thursday night and Friday, then another digging arctic low over the weekend. That is likely to be another snow maker.<\/p>\n

GFS<\/p>\n This continues to be an absolutely frigid and wintry setup that is locking in for the long haul. The coldest air relative to normal for the next month is right on top of the region.
