Good Saturday, everybody. After a harsh week of winter weather, we have a mild surge of days settling into the bluegrass state. If you’re a spring lover like myself, this is just a little glimpse of what’s to come later in March. A glimpse, by definition, means temporary. If you’re a winter weather lover like myself, we have a lot more of that still ahead. Yes, I’m a seasonally conflicted weatherdude. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Temps today hit the middle 40s in the north with middle 50s for the south as skies become partly sunny. Southwest winds really take control of the pattern on Sunday and that boosts your back porch thermometer toward 60 or a little bit better.<\/p>\n
We keep the milder air through the middle of next week, but, in true Kentucky weather fashion, rain crashes our mild weather party. How much rain falls over the next week depends on where a boundary sets up in our region.<\/p>\n

The new version of the GFS is farther south…<\/p>\n That model continues to have a colder overall look, bringing the winter weather potential in here by late in the week…<\/p>\n Regardless, this is another hyper-active period setting up over the next few weeks.
