Mother Nature kicked us in the teeth today with much colder air settling back into the region. This means our weekend is kicking off on a clear and cold note, but another super active setup is on the way from late this weekend into next week.<\/p>\n<p>The first system arrives Sunday and may bring rain, mixed precipitation and a touch of snow&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/NAM-2-1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-34921\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/NAM-2-1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"783\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is some indication for a few hours of freezing rain before rain takes control. Once that rain takes control, it becomes heavy at times Monday into Tuesday.
