<\/p>\nGood evening, folks. I don’t have a lot of time, but I wanted to drop by for a quick update on the colder pattern settling in. This is a pattern bringing some flakes to the region tonight, with winter weather chances increasing by the weekend and into next week.<\/p>\n
Our cold front is FINALLY through the state, taking the heavy rain to our east. Northwest winds are still howling and can hit 40mph at times. That same northwest wind may also throw a few snow showers of flurries our way. Here’s regional radar to track the action…<\/p>\n

Wind chills tonight will be in the teens as actual readings hit the 20s. Wednesday looks good with upper 30s to middle 40s with a mix of sun and clouds.<\/p>\n
The active pattern returns with a cold front moving in Thursday night. That has showers ahead of it, with colder air coming in behind it. That colder setup forces the storm track farther south, bringing the chance for winter weather our way. To systems can bring winter weather this weekend, with another early next week.<\/p>\n
The first arrives later Friday and early Saturday, with the next one Saturday night and Sunday, and the third by Tuesday. The models, as expected, change from run to run on the track of each, but it’s fun to watch…<\/p>\n
