A few flurries and snow showers continue to work across the state as cold winds blow from the northwest. This is kicking off another very active weather week, complete with snow, flooding rains and the potential for severe storms by the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s begin with the Monday taste of winter. These hit and run snow showers can put down brief coatings in a few spots&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;site=KY_&amp;type=SIR&amp;anim=1&amp;level=state&amp;large=1#\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"jetpack-lazy-image jetpack-lazy-image--handled\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" usemap=\"#largemap\" data-lazy-loaded=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From there, it&#8217;s full steam ahead toward an impressive system moving in later Tuesday and Wednesday. This one may start as snow and a mix, but the main threat comes from the potential for too much rain. for some areas.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also focusing on the weekend setup that has the potential to produce more flooding rains and even some severe thunderstorms&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a
