<\/p>\nGood afternoon, gang. That strange thing showing up in the sky today is called the sun. It’s a rather elusive phenomenon, so enjoy it while you can because more rain and severe storms are on the way.<\/p>\n
For the past week, I’ve been setting the stage for a possible severe weather event for the weekend. That setup continues to look fairly explosive and should result in severe thunderstorms, high winds and flooding rains.<\/p>\n
The Storm Prediction Center has much of Kentucky in the Slight to Moderate risk for severe storms on Saturday…<\/p>\n

Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes will be possible. The prime time for severe weather is during the afternoon and evening hours.<\/p>\n
Before all this, rain and some rumbles of thunder develop tonight across our region. This will carry us into Friday and is likely to produce additional flooding issues across the southern half of the state. Check out the rainfall numbers tonight into the daylight hours on Friday…<\/p>\n
