<\/p>\nGood evening, folks. We continue to track a big storm system rolling toward Kentucky over the next few days. This will bring the potential for flooding, flash flooding and severe thunderstorms. Buckle up because this is gonna be a wild ride.<\/p>\n
As expected, a Flash Flood Watch is now out for much of the region through Saturday night…<\/p>\n

Flood Warnings continue for many of the rivers across the state…<\/p>\n

My rainfall forecast has not changed with a general 1″-4″ showing up across the state…<\/p>\n

The new European Model agrees with my area of heaviest rain potential…<\/p>\n
This would be enough to cause significant flooding and flash flooding issues.<\/p>\n The severe weather aspect of this system is also going to show up later Saturday into Saturday evening. Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes will be possible. Here’s the current outlook from the SPC…<\/p>\n In addition to severe storms, high winds will be a be a big factor and could reach 50-60mph at times.
