Thermometer readings are increasing today, but rain is getting ready to crash the party. Showers and thunderstorms will increase later in the day across the western half of the state and that action will slowly roll to the east.<\/p>\n<p>Temps ahead of the showers and storms will hit the 60s on a gusty southwesterly wind flow. Those winds will crank as the action slowly increases. This chill will be with us into Tuesday, but skies become mostly sunny.
