Good afternoon, everyone. Showers and thunderstorms are rolling across parts of the region, but additional thunderstorms to our west may pose a severe risk for some. Areas of far western Kentucky are under the gun for the severe potential.<\/p>\n

Here’s the Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Damaging winds, large hail and a brief tornado or two will be possible in this region.<\/p>\n

Expect the severe threat to diminish rapidly the farther east the storms get tonight, leaving central and eastern parts of the state with some run of the mill action.<\/p>\n
