We continue to see gorgeous weather across our part of the world, but a weekend system will bring some ugly changes. Between now and then, temps will be taking off, giving us a full blown spring fever outbreak.<\/p>\n<p>Highs today will reach the upper 50s to low 60s in most of central and eastern Kentucky under sunny skies. This is another &#8220;wow&#8221; looking day.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday finds temps even milder with a few spots making a run to near 70. A few clouds will increase, but the dry weather likely continues.<\/p>\n<p>That dry weather may change Thursday night into Friday with scattered showers and thunderstorms creeping back into the mix&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Euro-12.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35759\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Euro-12.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"466\" height=\"493\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Euro-12.png 466w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Euro-12-284x300.png 284w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 466px) 100vw, 466px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That doesn&#8217;t look like an all day rain by any means, but it could cause a few issues for outdoor activities.<\/p>\n<p>A strong storm system rolls into the Great Lakes on Saturday, dragging a cold front across Kentucky. Winds will be very gusty with widespread showers and thunderstorms around. The current trend is for a faster moving front than the past few days&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Euro-2-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35760\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Euro-2-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"841\" height=\"983\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Euro-2-1.png 841w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Euro-2-1-257x300.png 257w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Euro-2-1-768x898.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 841px) 100vw, 841px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Strong storms are possible ahead of this front, with much colder air coming in behind it. That colder air shouldn&#8217;t last very long with a quick rebound into next week. That kicks off what is likely to be a warmer than normal April for much of our region.
