We have another absolutely amazing weather day across the bluegrass state, but big changes are on the way for the weekend. Those changes mean a big increase in showers and thunderstorms to the Commonwealth. There&#8217;s still an outside chance for a touch of winter.<\/p>\n<p>Highs today top out from 65-70 in many areas with partly sunny skies continuing. A few clouds are rolling in this afternoon, but any shower or storm looks to stay just to our west and north&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;site=KY_&amp;type=SIR&amp;anim=1&amp;level=state&amp;large=1#\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"jetpack-lazy-image jetpack-lazy-image--handled\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" usemap=\"#largemap\" data-lazy-loaded=\"1\" \/><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Temperatures on Friday will be back into the 60s, but scattered showers and storms will move in. This isn&#8217;t an all day type setup, but keep the umbrellas around, especially in the west and central parts of the state.<\/p>\n<p>Showers and storms will increase on Saturday as our cold front moves in. Leftover showers linger into early Sunday as chilly winds blow back in. It&#8217;s also likely to become a very busy setup for some big thunderstorms.
