<\/p>\nGood Saturday, everyone. Warm and rather humid air is on tap for the region over the next few days and this may help spawn some big thunderstorms. The storms rolling in for Sunday and Monday may be strong to severe across our part of the world.<\/p>\n
Let us begin with today and roll ahead. Clouds may be a bit slow to burn off, leaving our temps a little short of what I was thinking a few days ago. With clouds, temps stay in the 60s. With some clearing, temps head toward 70 or better.<\/p>\n
Rounds of showers and thunderstorms start to develop later tonight and will continue to form into Sunday. The atmosphere is conducive for strong to severe storms to develop, with the best threat across central and western parts of the state. Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes will be possible.<\/p>\n
That threat may move farther east and south on Monday…<\/p>\n

In addition to the severe potential, heavy rainfall is a good bet and that may lead to some local high water issues.<\/p>\n
After a mid-week break in the action, another round of strong to severe storms may be noted later Thursday…<\/p>\n
